The Challenge

The Metropolitan Museum of Art wanted to reimagine how it delivers learning experiences to a global audience. Existing online tools were fragmented, difficult to scale, and didn’t fully reflect the museum’s rich cultural resources. They needed a fresh digital approach to engage learners of all ages and backgrounds.

My Role

As Freelance Product Manager with Siberia, I:

  • Defined product roadmaps and aligned them with The Met’s education and digital teams

  • Facilitated workshops and concept sprints to explore learning needs and opportunities

  • Partnered with design and engineering to create clear product requirements

  • Balanced quick prototype delivery with long-term scalability

How We Tackled It

  1. Discovery → Collaborated with stakeholders to map educator, student, and public use cases

  2. Roadmap → Prioritized features that could validate learning models while supporting future growth

  3. Execution → Delivered prototypes and tested concepts to refine the vision

The Outcome

  • Produced interactive prototypes that shaped The Met’s future online learning strategy

  • Created alignment across museum leadership, design, and engineering teams

  • Delivered a framework for expanding access to cultural education worldwide
