SAMSUNG

Turning website operations into a scalable product practice for Samsung.com.

Platform Strategy · Technical Product Management · CMS · Product Operations

THE CHALLENGE

Samsung.com US supported thousands of product pages, major device launches, commerce, campaigns, and some of the brand's highest-traffic digital moments.

The challenge wasn't simply keeping the website running.

Teams were overwhelmed by volume, processes weren't sufficiently systemized, and the platform had to support two very different kinds of work: highly repeatable CMS-driven product experiences and sophisticated custom builds for launches, campaigns, and the homepage.

The opportunity was to treat the website as a product—not a queue of projects.
